Shaun’s finance foundations
Shaun laid his foundations as a financial planner in 1997, kicking off his career with a large firm in Geelong and working his way up to Director where he built concrete relationships with clients around the region. In 2017, Shaun took his decades of experience, community-first approach, and a leap of faith into starting his own firm, Edge Advisory Partners. Shaun and his team quickly grew a prestigious reputation with offices in Geelong, Ballarat, Merimbula, Shepparton, and Werribee.
In 2020, Shaun spearheaded the amalgamation of Edge Advisory Partners, Lifestyle Financial Advisers, and Keyplay Financial Services, bringing three businesses together under the Edge banner to offer more to their clients. 2025 brought a golden opportunity for Edge to join with Coastline Advice in an exciting move to create a holistic financial planning firm with a full spectrum of services for clients to benefit from.
Shaun’s approach
Shaun believes that education is key to taking the often-overwhelming uncertainty and unknowns of financial planning and simplifying it into clear, actionable goals clients can achieve at their own pace. A pioneer of financial literacy workshops and seminars for large corporate teams, Shaun has a longstanding history of looking after clients such as Cotton On Clothing, Godfrey Hirst Carpets, and Bega Cheese. He dedicates himself to making financial planning accessible to all generations at all stages of life, facilitating a fun and enjoyable financial education process, and providing the stability and reassurance clients need in knowing he’s simply a phone call away when they need him.

Shaun’s interests
Shaun is married to Micah, and they have three boys, Joel, Sam and Josh. Weekends are spent at his local football club where he is President, as well as running the kids around to their own sporting events where Shaun and Micah are proudly involved.
